Return and Exchange Policy

ℹ️Introduction

This return and exchange policy is formulated in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) and the domestic laws and regulations implemented by each EU member state. It applies to all sales of clothing products to consumers within the EU (hereinafter referred to as “consumers”), including distance sales (such as online purchases through the official website dexintimates.com) and offline non-business sales (hereinafter collectively referred to as “sales contracts”). This policy aims to clarify consumers’ rights to return and exchange goods, related procedures, and the rights and obligations of both parties.

Right to Return Without Reason (Cooling-Off Period)

  1. Return Period: Consumers have a 14-day right to return the purchased clothing product without reason (cooling-off period) from the date of receipt, without needing to provide any reason for return. If the last day of the cooling-off period falls on a non-working day, the period will be extended to the next working day. If we have not clearly informed consumers of this right in advance, the cooling-off period will be calculated from the date the consumer becomes aware of this right and extended by 12 months beyond the original 14 days.
  2. Exceptions to Returns: The following apparel products are not eligible for the no-reason return policy unless there is a quality issue: apparel that has been used, washed, or damaged by the consumer, resulting in a significant depreciation in product value.
  3. Consumer Obligations: During the cooling-off period, consumers should properly store the purchased apparel products to avoid unnecessary damage. Returns must be in “returnable condition,” meaning the original packaging, tags, and accessories (if applicable) must be retained, and the product must not have been excessively used or damaged.
  4. Return Shipping Costs: Unless we explicitly promise to cover return shipping costs at the time of sale, or have not informed consumers of the return shipping cost policy in advance, the transportation and packaging costs incurred for no-reason returns are borne by the consumer. Consumers may choose any reasonable shipping method for returns; we do not mandate the selection of a specific shipping service provider.

Return and Exchange Process

  1. Application Initiation:
    1. No-reason return: Consumers must contact customer service through the official website (dexintimates.com) or send an email to info@dexintimates.com to submit a return application within the cooling-off period, stating the order number, product information, and reason for return (no detailed explanation is required for no-reason returns);
    2. Quality issue return/exchange: Consumers must submit a return/exchange application within the quality guarantee period and may attach photos, videos, or other supporting materials demonstrating product defects (no additional evidence is required within 1 year).
  2. Review and Confirmation: We will complete the review within 3 business days of receiving the application and notify the consumer of the review result via email or website message. After approval, a detailed return address and return instructions will be provided (if the return address is different from the receiving address).
  3. Product Return: Consumers should return the product to the designated address within 14 days of receiving the approval notification. When returning the product, please indicate the order number and the contact information used in the application so that we can quickly verify it.
  4. Acceptance and Processing: We will complete the acceptance process within 7 working days of receiving the returned product.
    1. No-reason return: If the product meets the returnable condition, we will refund the full amount paid by the consumer within 14 days after acceptance (excluding return shipping costs borne by the consumer);
    2. Quality defect return/exchange: If a quality defect is confirmed, we will process it promptly according to the consumer’s chosen option (repair, replacement, refund). The repaired or replaced product will still enjoy the remaining quality guarantee period. The refund will be paid in full within 14 days after acceptance confirmation, including the shipping cost paid by the consumer at the time of purchase and reasonable return shipping costs.

Refund Method and Time Limit

  1. Refund Method: We will prioritize refunding the purchase price according to the consumer’s original payment method to ensure that the refund path is consistent with the payment path; if the original payment method cannot be used, we will negotiate with the consumer to determine other reasonable refund methods (such as bank transfer).
  2. Refund Time Limit: Regardless of the return/exchange situation, we will complete the refund payment within 14 days after accepting the returned product and confirming that it meets the conditions. If the consumer fails to return the product within the specified period, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or terminate the return/exchange process.

Supplementary Notes on Commercial Warranties

If we provide additional commercial warranties for the product (such as extended warranty, free maintenance, etc.), the relevant warranty terms will be clearly communicated to the consumer in writing (such as the product manual, a separate warranty agreement). Commercial warranties do not affect the consumer’s statutory warranty rights. If the terms are less stringent than the statutory requirements, they are invalid, and the statutory warranty terms will automatically apply; if the terms are more favorable, the favorable terms will apply.

Other Notes

  1. This policy applies only to consumers within the EU. Products sold to consumers outside the EU are subject to the return/exchange policies of the respective regions.
  2. If the terms of this policy conflict with the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the domestic laws of member states, the mandatory provisions of the relevant laws and regulations shall prevail.
  3. Any modifications to this policy will be published on the official website. If the modifications involve significant consumer rights, consumers who have already purchased the product will be clearly notified via email or other means. The modified policy will take effect from the date of publication.
